A son was born to Yolanda Seminole, of Riverton, and Mario Marin, of Bluff, Utah, at 4:44 p.m. March 28, 2012, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. He weighed 9 pounds.

MARTIN

A daughter was born to Laura and Cody Martin, of Riverton, at 4:06 a.m. March 21, 2012, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces.

MAXSON

A son was born to Brandi and Michael Maxson, of Riverton, at 8:01 a.m. Feb. 23, 2012, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces.

McFARLAND

A son was born to Clair and Josh McFarland, of Riverton, at 6:54 p.m. March 14, 2012, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds, 13 ounces.

Deaths

FESSLER

Memorial services for Edith P. Fessler are at 2 p.m. Friday, April 20, in the Chapel of Mount Hope, Hudson's Funeral Home in Lander. Edith (Fox) Fessler, 77, of Lander, died Monday, Jan. 30, at the Lander Regional Hospital. The online guest book is available at www.HudsonsFuneralHome.com.

MURPHY

Juried Art Exhibit Reception is 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. April 19 at the Robert A. Peck Arts Center Gallery at Central Wyoming College. The winners of the Juried Student Art Exhibit are announced during this public reception.

Film: Higher Ground is at 7 p.m. in the Little Theater at the Lander Library, 200 Amoretti St. Celebrate mountaineering through the eyes of world-class climbers. The film is part of the Earth Day Film Series.

Riverton High School Vocal Concert is 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. April 19 at the Robert A. Peck Arts Center Theatre at Central Wyoming College. RHS choral groups and vocalists will perform Festival pieces. Event is free.

Emergency calls

In Riverton police reports from Wednesday to Thursday morning:

- Craig Heckert, 32, of Riverton, was arrested for driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. The arrest occurred at 12:31 p.m. on Wednesday in the 100 block of Comanche Drive.

- Cassandra Goggles, 39, of Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication.

- Delmond Gawhega, 37, of Ethete, was arrested for contempt of court. Both arrests happened at 2:03 p.m. on Wednesday in the 800 block of East Main Street.

In Fremont County Sheriff's reports from Wednesday to Thursday morning:

- Brandon Smiley, 26, of Riverton, was arrested for probation revocation.

- During the same time period, ambulance crews responded to 15 calls for service and firefighters were dispatched four times.
