May 5, 2014 - StaffXenia Ellen White Chopping Green died Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Poplar Living Center in Casper. She was 99 years old.
Cremation has taken place, and interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton.
Xenia Ellen White Chopping Green was born May 8, 1914, in Coffeen, Ill., the daughter of Jasper and Ermie (Mabbs) White.
In 1919 she moved with her family to Fremont County. She finished high school in Riverton and married Porter Chopping of Riverton in 1933. They had two children: Porter Vern and Ellen Nadine.
In 1959, she married Johnnie William Green in Phoenix then moved to Stratford, Texas. In 1996, she returned to Riverton.
Her family said she was known for helping everyone wherever she lived.
She is survived by one sister, Wyoma Hammett of Casper; brother Gail White and wife Lucile of Casper; stepson Peyton Green and wife Diann of Amarillo, Texas; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son; daughter; grandchild; six brothers; and three sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.
