May 19, 2014 - From staff reportsThe seasonal opening of three roads on the Wapiti Ranger District of the Shoshone National Forest will have delayed openings due to snow drifts and road conditions.
Forest Service Road 112 (Russell Creek), Forest Service Road 100 (Bald Ridge) and Forest Service Road 474 (Carter Mountain) all will remain closed until further notice.
The action ensures the public's safety and allows the snow to melt and the road conditions to improve.
Officials anticipate opening the roads in June.
