Jun 3, 2014 - From staff reportsThe SageWest Health Care facilities in Riverton and Lander have been recognized by Mountain-Pacific Quality Health-Wyoming and Wyoming Department of Health for achieving excellence in infection prevention at the recent annual Infection Prevention Conference in Casper.
The Lander hospital achieved zero central line associated blood stream infections, zero catheter associated urinary tract infections, and zero Clostridium difficile infections in 2013. The Riverton hospital achieved zero CLABSIs and zero C. difficile infections for the same time period.
"We're extremely proud of our continuous record in both hospitals," CEOR00;Steve Erixon said. "This is a testament to the dedication of all our team members to provide quality care ... "
