Jun 9, 2014 - From staff reportsU.S. Sen. Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., is encouraging college students and graduates to apply for an internship in his Washington, D.C., office this fall. The deadline for applications is June 25.
The internship offers experience in the direct operations of our nation's government. Interns have the ability to network, develop job skills and gain knowledge to further their education and future career choices, Enzi said.
Enzi provides a monthly stipend of $1,600 for his interns and many colleges typically offer school credit for internship programs. Enzi encourages candidates to look into specific programs provided by their schools and take full advantage of their time in his office.
The fall internship for 2014 runs from Sept. 2 to Dec. 19. Priority is given to students and graduates from Wyoming, or those studying in Wyoming, who have achieved at least a sophomore status at an accredited university or college.
