Jun 10, 2014 - StaffDennis Zoller, of Riverton, died Friday, June 6, 2014, at SageWest Health Care at Riverton. He was 67 years old.
A memorial gathering and carry-in dinner will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, at the Riverton Elks. Inurnment will take place at a later date at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville.
Dennis Leroy Zoller was born July 25, 1946, in Longmont, Colo., the son of Willar Leroy and Darlene Elva (Winston) Zoller. He moved to Riverton in 1960.
He was a truck driver for different oil field companies, including Haliburton and Dowell. He also drove for the Riverton Senior Citizens and Community Service Center and Gator Taxi, and was a crossing guard for Fremont County School District 25.
His family said he enjoyed spending time at the Trailhead Family Restaurant and visiting with friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Dominica "Nica" Zoller, and her fiance, Brandon Manzanares; stepdaughters Ra'Quele Hinkle and her husband Jerry and Summer Freuler and her husband Thomas; sisters Donna Branson and her husband Butch and Darla Winkle and her husband Ray; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Clifford Buchanan; nephew Michael Winkle; and ex-wife RoBlane Zoller.
