Lawrence 'Cambys' Jenkins

Lawrence "Cambys" Jenkins, of St. Stephen's, died Sunday, June 8, 2014, at SageWest Health Care at Riverton. He was 32 years old.

A rosary and wake will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at 1641 17 Mile Road. A funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 13, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church with Father Phil Wagner officiating. Burial will be at Arapahoe Catholic Cemetery.

Lawrence Daniel Jenkins Sr. was born April 30, 1982, in Riverton, the son of Catherine Mary Jenkins. He attended Sunrise School and Arapahoe Schools. He lived his entire life on the Wind River Indian Reservation.

He was of the Catholic faith and practiced the traditional ways.

He worked at the Wind River Hotel and Casino.

His family said he enjoyed listening to music, going to the casino, driving around and spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nora Jenkins, Inez Warren, Lloyd Jenkins, James A. Jenkins, Hubert E. Warren, Jimmy Oldman and Edward Behan; great-grandparents Thurlo and Amanda Jenkins; brother Robert Thomas; uncle Anthony C. Jenkins, nephew Steven Warren; and baby girl Jenkins.
