This is in reply to the rather callous mindset of Jenny Larnder's letter regarding helping the little dog out of a bad situation.
Such attitudes could well set the humane animal welfare picture back another 100 years here in Wyoming, for goodness sakes.
Please look at the whole picture. Children and adults do have access to aide. But for animals, sadly, it is not so fortunate a picture, as they cannot speak for themselves.
They, too hurt, and unpleasantly so. therefore, it is out responsibility that we must speak for them.
This is necessary, this is kindness, and this is mercy.
