Margie Joann Manzanares was born June 26, 1952, in Salida, Colo., the daughter of Eulagia Benijua "Bene" (Sanchez) and Juan Nickolas Manzanares. She lived in Colorado as a small child and moved to the Riverton area in 1955. She grew up in Fremont County and attended schools in Riverton and Worland.

She married Steve Pimentel, and they had two children, Paul Anthony and Lisa Marie. They later divorced.

She and her significant other, Johnny J. Granado, formed a business together repairing parking lots throughout Wyoming and southern Montana.

Her family said she was a person who lived life to its fullest, and she was willing to try anything that came along. She liked collecting items such as dolls, ceramic figurines, computers, shoes and films. They said her family and grandchildren were the focus of her life, and she loved to cook for her them. She welcomed everyone to her home, and they always were invited to stay and eat.

She is survived by her significant other; son Paul A. (Christina) Pimentel of Riverton; sisters Juanita Guthrie of Green River, Pauline Manzanares of Newark, Ohio, Elsie (Lupe) Barajas of Cheyenne and Sandy Manzanares of Riverton; brothers Nick Manzanares of Casper and Leroy (Esther) Manzanares of Riverton; grandchildren Lisa Pimentel of Casper, Joseph (Danielle) Wilkins of Sidney, Neb., Joseph (Jessica) Kasper of Virginia and Jessie Hernandez of Worland; and her chihuahua Chica whom she loved very much.
