Recently around 7 p.m. I was driving south on North Smith Road. I noticed a passenger car stopped in the oncoming lane.
As I got closer I noticed a small dog beside the car. I stopped for fear of hitting the dog.
The driver looked at me and said, "We can't take care it," then drove off.
There stood a tiny Yorkshire terrier.
I tried my best to help this poor frightened animal, to no avail. It ran down Columbine Avenue off Smith Road, and I could not convince it to come to me.
I hope someone will find it and take care of it. If you can't, I can.
