Jun 27, 2014 - From staff reportsMore than 36 children participated in the annual Shrine Circus Children's Parade on Wednesday in Riverton.
Entrants dressed up as clowns, ring leaders, lion tamers, daredevils, strongmen and aerialists.
Prizes were awarded as follows:
Groups of four or more: Quay and Kahli Bradley and Ryan and Remington Bailey, first place; Santiago Piplica, Roxanna and Rosalinda Ramos, second place; and Riley Carey, Sydney and Aubreigh Muniz and Frankie Denk, third place.
Groups of two or three: Tracy, Kyli, Kelsi and Kaebri Yorgason, first place; Josh and Tommy Dimick, second place; and Mathew Weaver and Carson Creek, third place.
Children aged 5 and under: Doug Lewis, first place; Aurthur Lundberg, second place; Bentley and Jackson Owens, third place; E.T. Monroe, fourth place; and Chase Hartpence, fifth place.
Children ages 6 to 8: Esai Littleshield, first place; Aiden Spoonhunter, second place; Kaj Cooper, third place; and Marshaun and Taya Duran, fourth place.
Children ages 9 to 11:R00;Jamison Cooper, first place; Samantha DeClercq, second place; and Raquel Spoonhunter, third place.
Entrants with animals: Ryan McClelland, first place; Brooklyn Schrinor and Jade Moseley, second place; and Jordan and Jacoby Johnson and LeeVon Clauson, third place.
