HANGER

A son was born to Ashley Cox of Riverton and Clayton Hanger of Riverton at 3:30 a.m. May 11 at SageWest Health Care at Riverton. The baby weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce.

HARTENSTEIN

A daughter was born to Danielle Nichole Hartenstein of Lander and Adam Helb Hartenstein of Lander at 1:57 p.m. March 7 at SageWest Health Care at Lander. The baby weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce.

HEBAH

A son was born to Takem Bell of Riverton at 8:24 p.m. June 3 at SageWest Health Care at Lander. The baby weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces.

HELLER

A daughter was born to Margaret Heller of Lander and Brett Heller of Lander at 7:36 p.m. May 16 at SageWest Health Care at Lander. The baby weighed 6 pounds, 12.5 ounces.

HILL

A son was born to Sheron Behan of Riverton and Wilford Hill III of Fort Washakie at 12:43 a.m. May 31 at SageWest Health Care at Riverton. The baby weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce.

HEADLEY

Carlene Delight Headley, 52, of Riverton, died Monday, June 30, at her home. A viewing and rosary with a wake to follow will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 4, at 219 Givens Road. A funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 5, at 219 Givens Road with burial to follow at Sharpnose Cemetery.

HILL

Bonnie B. Hill, 77, of Riverton, died Wednesday, July 2, at her home surrounded by family. A viewing will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, at Davis Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

HUENEFELD

Mary Huenefeld, of Riverton, died Monday, June 30, in Everette, Wash. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, July 11, at the Riverton United Methodist Church, 1116 W. Park Ave.

NIPWATER

Anita "Peggy" Lois St. Clair Nipwater, 82, died Wednesday, July 2, in Pocatello, Idaho. A traditional Native American viewing was Tuesday, July 2, at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Fort Hall, Idaho. A viewing will be Thursday, July 3, and Friday, July 4, at the Shoshone Mission in Fort Washakie. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 5, in the Sacajawea Cemetery.

TANNER

Glenn Wayne Tanner, 62, died Monday, June 23, in Cheyenne. He will be interred at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 26, in Mount Hope Cemetery in Lander.

FCVHS/LVHS Alumni Association All Class Reunion July 5 to July 6 at the Museum of the America West, 1445 Main St., Lander. Fremont County Vocational High School/Lander Valley High School Alumni Association members and guests are invited to an "all class" reunion. Geology of the Torrey Valley Trek is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Dubois Museum, 909 W. Ramshorn St., Dubois. Second in a three-part series featuring the unique geology of the Dubois area, this trek is a free hiking tour of the Torrey Valley. Participants should meet at the museum at 9 a.m. and bring lunch, plenty of water and wear sturdy hiking boots or shoes. Participants will carpool to the Trail Lake Trailhead.

Ramshorn Wilderness Walk is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Brent Creek Trailhead in Dubois. This wilderness-seeking day hike is meant to get participants far into the Shoshone National Forest's roadless areas. Rangers will join hikers at the Brent Creek Trailhead to show off the newly renovated Ramshorn Trail. Hikers will head into the stunning Ramshorn Basin at a rapid pace, crossing through the DuNoir roadless areas and the Washakie wilderness. The trip is very difficult and is 10 miles round-trip.

This is an opportunity to gain insight into the individual stories of common birds, such as how cedar waxwings tell each other apart, why birds migrate with one eye, what Shakespeare had to do with the avian fauna and why ravens talk to wolves. Roger Lederer and Carol Bur, both retired from Chico State University, will present this free program.

Emergency calls

In Riverton Police Department reports Tuesday to Thursday morning:

- Eldon Antelope, 49, of Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication at about 11 a.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of East Main Street.

- Chauncey Friday, 47, of Ethete, was arrested for public intoxication at about 2 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of East Main Street.

- Jose Cantu, 24, of Riverton, was arrested for domestic battery at about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Blackfoot Avenue.

In Fremont County Sheriff's Office reports Tuesday to Thursday morning:

- Travis Hagerman, 33, of Hardin, Mont., was arrested on a Fremont County warrant for probation revocation.

- Representatives from a local energy company called police at about 10:45 a.m. Wednesday to report someone had cut the lock on a fence in the 500 block of South Major Avenue and stolen electrical wire. The complaint is under investigation.

- A Dubois man called police at about 4 p.m. Wednesday to report damage to a fence in the 3600 block of U.S. Highway 26 in Dubois. He said a wheel also was missing from the gate. The incident is under investigation.

- Miguel Ruiz-Ibarra, 31, of Riverton, was arrested for driving under the influence at about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 9000 block of Wyoming Highway 789 in Hudson. The initial call was regarding a vehicle that was "all over the road."
