Absentee voting beginning for primary election

Jul 10, 2014 - The Associated Press

CHEYENNE -- Absentee voting is now open for Wyoming's primary election.

The 40-day period for absentee voting began Thursday and ends on Aug. 18, the day before the primary.

Secretary of State Max Maxfield says registered voters can obtain absentee ballots through their local county clerk via the mail or by picking one up in person.

The voter may return the ballot by mail or in person to their county clerk. Ballots must be received in the clerk's office not later than 7 p.m. on election day, Aug. 19.
