Bats topic of next Fireside Speaker Series discussion

Sinks Canyon State Park has announced the Fireside Speaker Series schedule for summer 2014. The series began Friday.

The presentations will be at 6:30 p.m. at the camp host site in the Popo Agie Campground.

Families are welcome at these events. Children and adults are encouraged to bring marshmallows to roast in the campfire after the discussion ends. Bench seating is available, but attendees also may bring camp chairs.

The schedule is as follows:

- July 18: Bats of the Wind River Range with Krysta Demere, Wyoming Game and Fish Department

- July 25: Mountain Lions in Sinks Canyon with Stan Harter, Wyoming Game and Fish Department

- Aug. 1: The History of Sinks Canyon with Sarah Trembly, Sinks Canyon State Park
