Friday RHS soccer, track rescheduled to Monday

Apr 27, 2012 - Craig Blumenshine, Staff Writer

Because of high winds in the forecast, the Riverton-Casper Natrona soccer matches have been rescheduled from Friday, April 27, to Monday, April 30, according to Riverton High School activities director Keith Bauder.

The Riverton Lady Wolverines host the Natrona Lady Fillies Monday at 6 p.m., while the boys team will battle NC Monday at 6 p.m. in Casper.

Saturday's matches against Kelly Walsh, including the boys at home at 10:30 a.m. and girls in Casper at 1 p.m., are still scheduled.

Also moved to Monday is the Wyoming Track Classic which had been scheduled for Friday in Casper.

"They (Casper) are going to have over 60 mph winds, and we are going to be up to 50. I talked to the coaches. It will be better than being out there miserable in the wind tonight," Bauder said.
