Surgeon adds Lander to rotation

An orthopedic surgeon and former head team physician for the University of Wyoming Athletics is offering his expertise to residents in the Lander area.

With a sub-specialty certificate in sports medicine and a high level of specialty training in orthopedic surgery, he will now be expanding his unique skill set to the Premier Bone & Joint Centers' new location.

Dr. Jay Carson has been practicing with Premier Bone & Joint Centers since early 2000. His emphasis is in sports medicine, total joint replacement, along with shoulder and knee injuries. His commitment to restoring patients to their pre-injured lifestyle has contributed to the practice's reputation as a leader in orthopedic care. In addition to his extensive experience with Premier Bone & Joint Centers, Carson served as the head team physician for the University of Wyoming Athletics for 11 years.
