Apr 29, 2012 - StaffDanny L. Baker died Monday, April 23, 2012, at his home in Riverton.
He was 62 years old.
There will be no services.
Danny L. Baker was born Sept. 15, 1949, in Ramsey, Minn., the son of Edward Henry Baker and Betty Elizabeth (Oliver) Baker.
He grew up in Minnesota, in the Austin and Redwood Falls area.
He had served with both the U.S. Army and Marines, including a tour as a U.S. Army medic in Vietnam.
He had lived in Riverton for roughly 20 years.
Mr. Baker was a commercial painter by trade and had worked as a cook at the Trailhead for many years.
His family said he used to enjoy cutting wood and camping with his family.
Survivors include brother, James "Jim" Baker and wife Jaye of Riverton; sisters Sharon Holt of Riverton and Alice Wendt and husband Michael of Springfield, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jack and Arnold.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton.
