Feb 9, 2012 - StaffJ. Bart Fuhriman, 50, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, at the Lander Regional Hospital.
Funeral services are pending through Hudson's Funeral Home of Lander. Interment will be in Malad City, Idaho, next to his mother, Rula Jean Thomas.
Joseph Bart Fuhriman was born June 12, 1961, in Fort St. John, British Columbia, Canada, to Dale and Rula Fuhriman. He wasR00;the youngestR00;ofR00;four siblings.
He grew up in Idaho and began working on the oil rigs in the 80s with his brothers.
He met Teresa Findley while working at the airport in Casper, and they married in 1981. They had two sons, Zach and Blake. The family moved to Lander in 1989, where he began working in real estate and moved into the construction trade, working for various companies, until he finally started his own construction company in the mid-90s. The couple divorcedR00;andR00;he moved to Atlantic City to pursue his gold mining hobby. The family said Mr. Fuhriman enjoyed gold mining and spending time with his sons.R00;
Mr. Fuhriman was preceded in death by his two brothers, Kelly andR00;Shane;R00;mother, Rula, and father, Dale.
He is survivedR00;by his sister Kathy Schwartz and husband Kevin of Gillette; sons Zach Fuhriman and wife Hannah of Lander and Blake Fuhriman and wife GabbyR00;of Ft. Benning, Ga.;R00;sister Marti Fuhriman and husband Terry and stepmother Merigene Fuhriman, all of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Canada; several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
