A daughter was born to Ashley and Brandon Robidoux, of Riverton, at 9:58 a.m. March 22, 2012, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. She weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces.

Community calendar


Fundraiser for LVHS Project Graduation is at Tony's Pizza, 637 Main St., Lander. Eat at Tony's Pizza on Thursday, May 3, and they will donate 10 percent of their proceeds to the Senior Project Graduation party. This is a great way to participate in fundraising for the all-night chemical-free senior celebration.

Irish Banquet is 7 p.m. at the Lander Valley High School commons, 350 Baldwin Creek Road, Lander. The LVHS choir will perform. Tickets are available at the door or in advance from choir students and at the high school. For more information, call Jacob at 332-3640.

Help for Health Hospice Volunteer Training is 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Help for Health Hospice home, 1240 College View Drive, Riverton. Registration is not required, and snacks are provided.

Decorative Paving Tiles is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. May 4 and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. May 5 at the Lander Art Center, 224 Main St., Lander, WY 82520. Students will use a clay slab to create decorative tiles that will be glazed and fired. Then using a 12" x 12" garden paver as a base, the tiles will be glued and grouted creating a unique element to place in the garden. Cost is $55 (includes supplies). For more information, visit

Emergency calls

In Riverton police reports from Wednesday to Thursday morning:

- At 1:52 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to the 1200 block of South Federal Boulevard concerning a warrant arrest. Subsequently, Christopher Monroe, 28, of Riverton, was arrested for resisting arrested and a municipal court warrant.

- Vernon Brown, 53, and David Brown, 50, both of Riverton, were arrested for municipal court warrants. The arrests occurred at 11:25 p.m. on Wednesday in the 100 block of Apache Avenue.

In Fremont County Sheriff's reports from Wednesday to Thursday morning:

- There were no arrests made.

- During the same time period, ambulance crews responded to 17 calls for service and firefighters were dispatched once.

- The sheriff's office is investigating a reported burglary at the Longhorn RV and Motel in Dubois. According to the sheriff's dispatch log, the agency received a call at 9:16 a.m. from someone reporting a couple doors at the business had been kicked in.
