Restore America's Freedom on May 12

Anyone frustrated about the federal government and interested in discussions about ways for improvements can find like-minded individuals at two upcoming political gatherings in Fremont County on Saturday, May 12.

The gatherings under the banner Restore America's Freedom Rally will include numerous speakers, including some expected to announce political campaigns for this election season.

"People are fed up and they need to stand together and join their other Americans disgusted with this government gone wild," said Lander's Jennifer McCarty, coordinator of the Fremont County Tea Party movement.

The gatherings will happen from 9 a.m. to noon at Riverton City Park and from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Fremont County Courthouse in Lander.

"Attend and join forces in getting good candidates who honor their oath of office, stick with the oath of office and represent us under the Constitution, not under an agenda that they have," McCarty said.
