Local NAPA store earns recognition

May 17, 2012 - Staff

NAPA Auto Parts Riverton has earned NAPA "Five Star Status" recognition for 2011, for the second consecutive year the local store has been honored and seventh time overall.

To receive the award, a store must score at least 90 out of a possible 110 points. Only NAPA's top-performing locations make the grade. Points are awarded based on a combination of total sales growth, advertising, support of local NAPA AutoCare Centers and store appearance as well as staff education, training and outside sales.

Rick and Becky Osborne own the Riverton store.

NAPA Auto Parts Riverton is one of 6,000 NAPA Auto Parts stores nationwide. The National Automotive Parts Association was founded in 1925 to meet the growing need for an auto parts distribution system. The cooperative distributes parts to both corporately and independently owned auto parts stores.
