Feb 13, 2012 - From staff reportsFremont County Coroner Ed McAuslan has identified the driver who died in a vehicle rollover near Shoshoni on Friday morning.
The victim was Henry Gomendi of Thermopolis.
McAuslan, during an interview on Saturday did not have Gomendi's age, but believed he was in his 40s.
Gomendi died at the scene of the crash. McAuslan said trauma from the wreck appeared clearly to be the cause of Gomendi's death.
No autopsy will happen, McAuslan said.
Law enforcement dispatch received a report of the one-vehicle rollover at about 8:42 a.m. The crash happened between the Boysen Reservoir causeway and Shoshoni near milepost 124 on Highway 789.
The crash delayed traffic in both directions on the highway.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol is investigating the wreck.
