Ashdown, Ridgway, Salisbury, Wright named all-state soccerMay 22, 2012 - Staff Marcia Ashdown, Riverton's all-time leading girls soccer scorer, and Logan Ridgway, one of Wyoming's top goalkeepers for the second year in a row, headline Riverton's all-state soccer selections as announced by the Wyoming High School Coaches Association. It's the third time Ashdown has been named to the all-state first team and the second time for Ridgway. Wolverine senior Josh Wright, Riverton's defensive midfield workhorse, and Kade Salisbury, an outside midfield force for the Wolverines, also were named all-state first-teamers. All four of Riverton's all-state athletes also were named to the first-team Class 4-A West list. Also, Riverton freshman goal scorer Tristan White was named to the all-conference first team, along with Lady Wolverines Alexis Oaks and Karissa Kister. Named as second team all-conference players were, for the boys, Caleb Ogg, Zach Zenk and Shaydon Coulson. Girls second team all-conference selections were Amy Woodward , Camey Fegler, Rachel Graham, Maci Evans, Cassity Haverkamp, Baylee Stafford, Chasely Morgan and Tayler Paskett-Krause |
