May 23, 2012 - The Associated PressCHEYENNE -- The unemployment rate in Wyoming held steady at 5.3 percent from March to April.
The rate is down from 6 percent a year ago and remains well below the nationwide unemployment rate of 8.1 percent.
Wyoming Department of Workforce Services reported Tuesday that unemployment declined in most Wyoming counties from March to April. The highest unemployment in Wyoming was 11.2 percent in Teton County.
