Clarification

An editing decision affected the meaning of the lead paragraph in Thursday's story about the sentencing of Gerardo Rico-Holguin in a plea agreement on a felony drug charge. District Judge Norman E. Young used the word "inconclusive" in describing whether the evidence proved Rico-Holguin was a major drug dealer, not to describe the defendant's overall guilt on the specific charge, to which he had pleaded guilty.

A son was born to Taleah Medicine Cloud and Rysen Tallwhiteman, of Fort Washakie, at 8:56 a.m. May 15, 2012, at Lander Regional Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 13.5 ounces.

ST. JOHN

Edward "Dale" St. John, 62, of Casper, died Monday, May 21, at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper. He was the brother of Robert St. John of Dubois. Funeral services were at noon Friday, May 25, at Newcomer Funeral Home in Casper. To send a message of condolence, visit www.NewcomerCasper.com.

Riverton Middle School 5k Walk and Run is 7:30 a.m. May 28 starting at the Major Avenue middle school parking lot. Registration is $10, and the money made from the race will go to the Tough Enough Cancer fund. Pre-registration forms are available in the Riverton Middle School office. Emergency calls

In Riverton police reports from Thursday to Friday morning:

- At 1:21 p.m. on Thursday in the 800 block of North Federal Boulevard, Melain Jenkins, 34, of Arapahoe, was arrested for warrants (courtesy hold).

- Joshua Pennington, 29, of Riverton, was arrested for assault (domestic violence). The arrest occurred at 11:57 p.m. on Thursday in the 300 block of Elk Drive.

- At 1:29 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to Ace Hardware on North Federal concerning a shoplifting incident.

RPD Capt. Eric Murphy said a male subject entered the business and attempted to charge $300 worth of Craftsman tools to the Wind River Casino. Employees asked to see proof that the man was authorized to purchase the times on the casino account. The male left the area without the tools.

In Fremont County Sheriff's reports from Thursday to Friday morning:

- Crystal Robinson, 31, of Lander, was arrested for probation revocation.

- During the same time frame, ambulance crews responded to 17 calls and firefighters were dispatched three times.
