Horse slaughterhouse wouldn't be right for 'Wonderful Wyoming'

May 31, 2012 - Ida Anderson, Casper

The proposed horse slaughterhouse in Riverton would be a black eye for Wonderful Wyoming.

Imagine a wild horse that was gentle broke by an inmate at the Wyoming Honor Farm, then transferred to a private individual, and then sold for slaughter.

Imagine noble horses being shipped off for expedient profit when their use on the ranch is over instead of being put out to pasture.

If he couldn't buck anymore, would Cowboy Joe send him to the cannery?
