Clifford P. "Cliff" Burns Jr., 75, of Riverton, died Thursday, June 7, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. Cremation has taken place and funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton. Online condolences may be posted at www.theDavisFuneral
Kenneth Carey died Tuesday, June 5, in his home in Lander. A visitation has been arranged by the family for 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m Sunday, June 10, in the Chapel of Mount Hope, Hudson's Funeral Home in Lander. A full obituary will follow at a later date.

In Riverton police reports from Thursday to Friday morning:
- Carlene Headley, 51, of Arapahoe, was arrested for public intoxication.
- Brian Goggles, 36, of Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication.
- Trevor Bartlett, 29, of Gillette, was arrested for driving under the influence.
In Fremont County Sheriff's reports from Thursday to Friday morning:
- There were no arrests made.
- During the same time period, ambulance crews responded to 20 calls for service and firefighters were dispatched eight times.
- At 10:21 a.m. on Thursday, the sheriff's office received a call about a one-vehicle crash at Paradise Valley and Peterson roads near Riverton. The caller told police the 34-year-old woman suffered leg injuries.
Sheriff's Capt. Ryan Lee said the vehicle ran off the roadway, and the woman's injuries were not life threatening.
- Lee said a male juvenile was cited for battery after police responded to a family fight on Haymaker Road in Riverton at 5:17 p.m. on Thursday. According to the dispatch log, the caller told police her husband and 16-year-old son were fighting, and her husband was bleeding from his arm and was in pain.
