I was touched by the letter from the elementary pupil in Iowa who wanted Wyoming information for a school project. That used to be a big thing in schools, but I didn't think kids wrote away for postcards, newspapers and other items from states anymore. I assumed they just copied it all down off the Internet (which I think is seriously undermining education these days).
I took the time to wrap up an old license plate I had in my garage, using bubble wrap and a big envelope. I mailed it off to her and hope she will be excited to see it arrive.
