Jun 17, 2012 - StaffShoshone National Forest managers and representatives of cooperating agencies are meeting on June 27-28 at the Big Horn Federal in Thermopolis.
The meeting times are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, and 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 28.
The public is welcome to attend both days.
"We have reached an important stage in the forest plan revision process," said forest planner Carrie Christman in a statement.
Christman referred to the release of the draft environmental impact statement and draft forest plan, scheduled for late July.
The purpose of the meeting is to familiarize the cooperating agencies with the draft environmental impact statement and draft forest plan.
The group will also review the next steps in the process, including release of the draft documents and the 90-day public comment period.
