Jun 19, 2012 - StaffAt 4:03 p.m. Sunday, emergency personnel responded to a one-vehicle rollover about 20 miles outside Shoshoni on Highway 20/26. According to the Fremont County Sheriff's dispatch log, the occupant was partially ejected from the passenger car and still alive. The individual was seen being taken by ambulance toward Casper.
Officials remained on scene for at least 90 minutes to investigate.
Eyewitnesses observed the four-door passenger car situated about 30 yards from the two-lane highway, facing toward Casper. Road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.
Fremont County Sheriff's deputies, an ambulance unit and Wyoming Highway Patrol troopers responded to the incident. Firefighters from Shoshoni and Lysite were also dispatched.
