Trial set for Cody homicide; death penalty will be soughtJun 21, 2012 - The Associated Press CODY -- A tentative trial date of March 15, 2013, has been set in the first-degree murder case of a Cody man accused of stabbing his wife to death with a screwdriver. Prosecutors have said they intend to seek the death penalty against 29-year-old Myron Friday. An autopsy concluded that 44-year-old Julie Friday was killed by repeated stabbings from a screwdriver last February. She was found dead at her home by one of her teenage children, and Myron Friday was arrested after a daylong search. |
