Travis B. Allen, 37, of Riverton, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at the Davis Funeral Home in Riverton with burial to follow at the Collins Cemetery.

Travis B. Allen was born Nov. 14, 1974, in Riverton the son of John Benjamin Allen Jr. and Brenda Sue (Taylor) Allen. His Arapaho name was "Light Before Dawn," given to him by his grandfather Vincent Brown when he was a young boy.

He attended Riverton schools and in his youth was an all-star ball player.

His family said he loved to play rock and roll drums and guitar, go camping and fishing with his family, rock hunting and riding motorcycles.

Mr. Allen was a roofer by trade.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Stacy Wilcox; daughters Adrienne Allen, 13, Michelle Allen, 11, and Holly Allen, 9; his parents, Brenda and John Allen; brother Stony Allen and a sister, Joy Allen.

Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joy and Eugene Taylor; grandfather Vincent Brown; grandmother Ellen Monroe; uncles Eugene Monroe and Dennis Monroe.
