Meridian Trust helps members 'HEAT' homesJun 28, 2012 - From wire reports CHEYENNE -- Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union in Wyoming has helped its members in need pay their home heating bills recently, sending out checks totaling $3,690 through its "HEAT" Program. HEAT stands for Heat Energy Assistance Trust. The funds for this program come from the Skip-a-Pay promotion, where members can choose to "skip" a loan payment. Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union provides financial services to more than 20,000 members, with branches in Cheyenne, Lander, Rawlins and Jackson; along with PowerTrust branches in Casper and Rock Springs.
