Joseph Lee La More, 92, of Riverton, and formerly of California, died Monday, June 11, 2012, at the Wind River Health Care in Riverton.

According to his wishes, cremation will take place, and there will be no local services. His cremated remains will be entombed with those of his late wife in the Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana, Calif.

Mr. La More was born in Lincoln County, Wis., to Fred and Elizabeth (Torrey) La More.

He served with the U.S. Army and the Wisconsin National Guard and worked in civil service at the El Toro Marine Base in Orange County, Calif.

Mr. La More is survived by two daughters, Jaye Baker and her husband James of Riverton, and Julie Riccelli of Ohio; grandchildren Sarah Didion of Ohio, Rebecca Larson of Illinois, and Elizabeth Sanders of Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce A. La More; his parents and six siblings.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton.
