Jul 11, 2012 - From staff reportsFremont County Commissioner Keja Whiteman missed meetings for the board earlier this week, which included action to adopt the government's new fiscal-year budget, because of injuries she suffered in a car crash.
Whiteman said someone rear-ended her Monday in downtown Riverton.
"It was a little accident," she said. "I'm just really stiff and sore."
Her injuries prevented her from attending Monday night's budget hearing in Lander and the regularly scheduled meeting the following day.
She said she does not expect the injuries to affect her future attendance.
