BLM analyzing horse herdJul 15, 2012 - From staff reports The Bureau of Land Management's Lander Field Office has opened review of a preliminary environmental assessment analyzing a proposed wild horse gather in the North Lander Wild Horse Herd Management Area Complex. The North Lander Complex is located east of Riverton within Fremont County. The proposed gather is expected to take place in the fall. The preliminary environmental assessment analyzes four alternatives. They are available at www.blm.gov/wy/st/en/info/NEPA/documents/lfo/N-Lander-gather.html.
