ENOS

Norma J. Enos, 63, of Fort Washakie, died Saturday, July 7, after fighting a long battle with cancer. A memorial service will be at a later date. Cremation has occurred.

QUAYLE

Donald Earl Quayle, 81, died with family by his side Wednesday, July 18, at the Help for Health Hospice Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, at St. James Episcopal Church in Riverton.

Redneck BBQ Festival, presented by Paws for Life Dog House Fund, is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Central Wyoming College, 2660 Peck Ave., Riverton. The alcohol-free event will have a carnival atmosphere, and prizes will be awarded for best redneck costume. Admission is free.

Emergency calls

In Riverton police reports from Wednesday to Thursday morning:

- Raylinda Brown, 20, of Riverton, was arrested for a warrant (probation revocation), minor under the influence of alcohol, breach of peace and resisting arrest.

- Cheryl Eagle, 30, of Riverton, was arrested for a warrant (probation revocation).

- Jody Blackburn, 32, of Riverton, was arrested for a municipal court warrant.

- Anderson Antelope, 51, of Lander, was arrested for a municipal court warrant and public intoxication.

In Fremont County Sheriff's reports from Wednesday to Thursday morning:

- William Hall, 57, of Alpine, was arrested for probation revocation.

- During the same time period, ambulance crews responded to 15 calls and firefighters were dispatched twice.

- At 4:36 p.m. on Wednesday, the sheriff's office received a call from a woman reporting a crash on Louis Lake Road in the mountains above Lander. The woman reportedly told police there were three women and two children in a Sedan wedged between two boulders near Fry Lake. The vehicle's windshield was broken, and one of the victims had a burn from a seat belt. There was also a report of one of the women being dizzy and vomiting.

Sheriff's Capt. Ryan Lee said investigation revealed the driver of the sedan swerved to miss a deer and ran off the roadway at a slow speed. Emergency medical technicians evaluated all passengers, and no one was taken to the hospital. The wrecked vehicle was towed from the area, Lee said.

- At 7:14 p.m. on Wednesday, the Wyoming Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle crash near milepost 92 on Highway 20 by Shoshoni that involved a semi-tractor trailer flipped over and blocking traffic. The reporting party told police it appeared the truck's two occupants were out and walking around.

The Shoshoni Fire Department also responded to the incident.
