Fire starts near Seminoe Reservoir

Jul 24, 2012 The Associated Press

CHEYENNE -- A crew of more-experienced firefighters will be taking over the fight against a wildfire burning near Seminoe Reservoir in Carbon County.

The fire has burned an estimated 3,100 acres and is about a mile north of Seminoe Dam.

However, Seminoe State Park is not threatened. Wildfires have forced temporary closures in some other Wyoming state parks this summer.
