Jul 24, 2012 - StaffMildred Esther Isenhart, 92, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at the Douglas Care Center in Douglas.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Riverton. Bill Connell will officiate the service.
Mildred Esther Isenhart was born Feb. 9, 1920, to Valdemar and Thora (Nielsen) Jensen in Hamlin Township, Audubon County, Iowa. She was the youngest of 10 children.
In January 1938 she moved to LaBarge with her brother.
On March 19, 1938, she married Edward Isenhart, a good friend of her brother's. The couple celebrated 65 years of marriage, just a few weeks before Mr. Isenhart's death in 2003.
Mr. Isenhart's job transferred the family to Riverton in 1961. Mrs. Isenhart moved to Douglas in December 2007 to live with her son Dennis.
Her family said she loved Wyoming's mountains and enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking and gardening.
She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1962.
She is survived by her son Dennis and his wife Barbara of Douglas; daughter-in-law Bonnie of Riverton; grandsons Larry Isenhart Jr. of Riverton and Wesley Isenhart of Rock Springs; granddaughter Sheila Willson of Tigard, Ore.; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Anna Lauritson of Griswold, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by eight siblings; her husband, Edward; and son Larry Sr.
