A son was born to Andrea and Cole Watson, of Riverton, at 3:47 a.m. June 14, 2012, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 1.2 ounces.
Dean Alexander Dewey, 44, died Sunday, July 22, 2012, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at St. Stephens Catholic Church with Father John Gaffney officiating. Interment will follow at Araphahoe Catholic Cemetery. A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday, July 27, at St. Stephens Catholic Church with a wake to follow at the family home, 393 Left Hand Ditch Road.
Zona Moss, 70, of Ethete, died July 24, 2012, at the Lander Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at the Blue Sky Hall in Ethete. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, July 27, at Blue Sky Hall with the service at 7 p.m. The all night wake will take place at 456 Ethete Road following the services at Blue Sky Hall. Services are under the direction of Hudson's Funeral Home of Lander.

In Riverton police reports from Wednesday to Thursday morning:
- Douglas Johnson, 21, of Riverton, was arrested for theft.
- Nelson Duran, 32, of Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication.
In Fremont County Sheriff's reports from Wednesday to Thursday morning:
- There were no arrests made during this time frame.
- The Fremont County Search and Rescue assisted Sublette County rescuing a female injured in an ATV wreck Wednesday afternoon at Granite Lake near Dubois.
According to the sheriff's office dispatch log, at 3:16 p.m. on Wednesday, police received a call from a woman about her and her 25-year-old daughter who were riding an ATV when it flipped backwards.
Sheriff's Capt. Ryan Lee said the victim's injuries were non-life threatening. The crash occurred just inside Sublette County near the Fremont County boundary line.
- During the same time period, ambulance crews responded to 11 calls and firefighters were dispatched three times.
