BROWN

Walter John Brown, 42, of Arapahoe, died July 27, 2012, at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, at Blue Sky Hall in Ethete. Rosary is at 7 p.m. Monday, July 30, at Blue Sky Hall. Services are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home

GRAVES

Sharon Elaine Graves, 70, relative of Fremont County residents, died July 23, 2012, at West Park Long Term Care Center in Cody from complications of a stroke she suffered in 2008. A memorial service will be at a later date in Ruskin, Fla.

JULY 30

Hot Notes Cool Nights Concert is at 7 p.m. at Riverton City Park. Rain site is the Central Wyoming College Arts Center Gallery. Featured group is the Wyoming Jazz Educators Big Band and Jazz Choir. People interested in playing in the band should arrive at 5:30 p.m. for rehearsals. Concert is free.

Emergency calls

In Riverton police reports from Thursday to Friday morning:

- Douglas Johnson, 21, of Riverton, was arrested for theft.

- Nelson Duran, 32, of Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication.

In Fremont County Sheriff's reports from Thursday to Friday morning:

- Brandi Martin, 18, of Riverton, was arrested for a warrant (failure to appear).

- Lonnie Reaves, 59, of Lander, was arrested for bond revocation.

- During the same time period, ambulance crews were called out 13 times and firefighters responded to four calls for service.

- At 4:21 p.m., firefighters responded to a structure fire at 33 Plunkett Field Road in Ethete. Lander Rural Fire chief Dave Peevey said a garage behind a trailer house caught fire.

"I believe it started by a compost pile, and I think it burned across the grass and caught it on fire," he said.

The trailer house was not damaged but the garage burnt down, Peevey said.

"It was fully engulfed when we got there," he said.

Lander Rural and Fort Washakie firefighters remained on scene for 90 minutes. Peevey said there were no injuries.
