Correction

In Thursday's Ranger, the page one caption with the story "Interior secretary: Grizzly delisting expected by 2014" misidentified the bears in the accompnaying picture. They are black bears.

Deaths

BROWN

Walter John Brown, 42, of Arapahoe, died July 27, 2012, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, at Blue Sky Hall with Father John Gaffney officiating. Interment will follow at Whiteplume Cemetery. A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday, July 30, at Blue Sky Hall with a wake to follow.

SPOONHUNTER

Alfred Spoonhunter, 68, of the Riverton area, died Sunday, July 29, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at the Davis Funeral Home and another rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, at Great Plains Hall with a wake to follow at 1527 Elmwood Drive Beaver Creek. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at St. Stephens Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home.

WEHLING

Segourney Wehling, 21, of Colorado and Riverton, died in a car accident Saturday, July 28. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Davis Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home.

Hogs N' Mud Wrestling, presented by Encana , is at 7:30 p.m. at the Fremont County Fairgrounds, 705 Fairgrounds Road, Riverton. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Event is part of the Fremont County Fair and Rodeo. Night's theme is "Fremont Family Night" and "Feds, Farmers, and Friends Feeding Families." Bring a can of food for a discount.

Flying Squirrels of Sinks Canyon Program is at 7 p.m. at the Sinks Canyon Visitor Center. This is a program presented by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department that will explore the research of a newly recognized species, flying squirrels, in the state park.

Museum of the American West Speaker Series, featuring Tim McCoy Movie Night , is at 7 p.m. at the Museum of the American West, 1445 Main St., Lander.

Public Attitudes About Wolves is at 7 p.m. in the Dennison Lodge, 909 W. Ramshorn St., Dubois. Pinedale author, photographer and journalist Cat Urbigkit traces public attitudes about wolves from historic eras of western development to contemporary times. Books will be available for purchase at the event. This program is presented as part of the Wyoming Humanities Council's Humanities Forum. - Kincaid Duran, 42, of Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication.

- Forrest Duran, 41, of Arapahoe, was arrested for public intoxication.

- Robert Pavlica, 29, of Riverton, was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).

- Sarah Cousineau, 27, of Riverton, was arrested shoplifting.

- Derek Griffin, 21, of Riverton, was arrested for a municipal court warrant.

- Stefan Bigmedicine, 30, of Riverton, was arrested for a municipal court warrant and resisting arrest.

- Edward Soundingsides, 28, of Riverton, was arrested for a municipal court warrant.

- Phoebe Soundingsides, 27, of Riverton, was arrested for municipal court warrants.

- Cheryl Truyen, 51 of Riverton, was arrested for a warrant (probation revocation).

In Fremont County Sheriff's reports from Friday to Tuesday morning:

- Lela C'Hair, 23, of Fort Washakie, was arrested for a warrant (failure to appear).

- David Dobson, 49, of Lander, was arrested for DUI.

- Quinn Duran, 21, of Arapahoe, was arrested for a warrant (failure to appear).

- Kasia Monroe, 21, of Riverton, was arrested for a warrant (failure to appear).

- Trampes Rivers, 38, of Dubois, was arrested for interference with police, no insurance, bond revocation, probation revocation and duty unattended vehicle.

- Alfredo Rodriguez, 21, of Pavillion, was arrested for DUI, driving under suspension and driving on roadway laned for traffic.

- Dana Eagles, 35, of Riverton, was arrested for two counts of forgery and a warrant (failure to appear).

- During the same time period, ambulance crews responded to 71 calls for service and firefighters were dispatched 15 times.
