Segourney 'Siggy' Wehling

Segourney "Siggy" Wehling, 21, of Denver, died as a result of a car accident Saturday, July 28, 2012, outside of Boulder, Colo.

Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at Davis Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. A viewing will be 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4.

Segourney Solonge Wehling was born Nov. 8, 1990, in Columbus, Ga., to Richard Rodd Wehling and Maria (Ortiz) Wehling. In 1995 she moved to Riverton where she went to school. She graduated from Riverton High School in 2009.

After school she worked at the Acme Theater, Kmart, Holiday Inn and the Trailhead.

In 2011 she moved to Denver and was attending the Aveda Institute of Denver.

She also had worked at Floyd's 99 Barbershop in Denver.

She attended Awanas in Riverton when she was younger.

Her family said she enjoyed music, both singing and listening to it, dancing, art, body art, designing, scuba diving and working with cosmetics and hair.

She is survived by her parents, Maria and Tim Guthrie of Riverton and Richard and Courtney Wehling of Eagle River, Alaska; daughter Jaslene Wehling of Riverton; Jaslene's father, Mike Garcia; brothers Lee Sage of Riverton, Eric (Kendra) Sage of El Reno, Okla., and Chris Guthrie of Washington; sister Crystal and Omar Rosa of Florida; grandparents Randy and Mary Hutchison, Richard and Jan Wehling and Isabel Ortiz.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry Ortiz and Fran Smith; great-grandparents Gladys Gladden, Blake and Edith Wehling; great-great-grandmother Margaret Cannon.

Memorials may be made to the Jaslene Wehling Education Fund in care of the Davis Funeral Home, 2203 W. Main St., Riverton, WY 82501.
