Jan 31, 2012 - StaffFuneral services for Fremont County native L. Evelyn (Stoll) LeDesky of Choteau, Mont., are at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Choteau.
Burial follows in the Choteau Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, at the Gorder Jensen Funeral Home in Chouteau, Mont.
Mrs. LeDesky, 86, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at the Benefis Health Care in Great Falls, Mont.
Lillian Evelyn Stoll was born April 22, 1925, in Fort Washakie, the daughter of John and Betty (Finch) Stoll.
She married Early LeDesky on Oct. 5, 1946, in Great Falls, Mont.
Mrs. LeDesky was a homemaker and also worked in retail sales at The Bon (formerly Paris of Montana) in Great Falls.
She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Great Falls and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Choteau.
Mrs. LeDesky was a summer resident of Choteau for 19 years and moved to Choteau full-time three years ago from Mesa, Ariz.
Her family said she was an artist and enjoyed playing golf when she was younger.
She was a past member of the Great Falls Garden Club and was active in her children and grandchildren's activities.
Mrs. LeDesky is survived by her husband, Earl LeDesky of Choteau, Mont.; children Terry LeDesky of Oak Harbor, Wash., and Sarah Vicki Lewin of San Francisco; grandchildren Rachael Michele Lewin of San Francisco, and Elisa Kay LeDesky of Oak Harbor, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and five sisters.
