Helen Black died Friday, Aug. 10. She was 3 years old. Funeral services were Tuesday, Aug. 14, at Our Father's House in Ethete with the Rev. Sally Bubb officiating. Interment will be In the Yellow Calf Cemetery.

EWING

Jean Elizabeth Dewey Ewing, formerly of Riverton, died Saturday, Aug. 11, at Poplar Living Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, at Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery. Interment will follow at the cemetery.

GENOFF

Anthony John "Tony" Genoff, 81, died Friday, Aug. 10, in Casper. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, at Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Adams of Lighthouse Bible Church officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

HERMANN

Charles Frank "Chuck" Hermann, 83, died Friday, Aug. 10, at his home in Riverton. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Michael Baldwin officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

SHOUP

David H. Shoup, 89, of Riverton, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. A tentative memorial service is set for 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2012. Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton.

Crowheart Butte Battle Historical Days and Powwow is Aug. 17 to Aug. 19 at 33 Old Yellowstone Highway. All drum groups, dancers and the general public are welcome.

Red Desert Tours, promoted by the Wyoming Association of Churches, is 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and meets at the rest station opposite Oregon Buttes near the Sweetwater River on Highway 28. The itinerary includes the Continental Divide at Oregon Buttes, an overlook of the Great Divide Basin, the Honeycombs, Alkali Rim, Chicken Springs, Steamboat Mountain, the Sand Dunes and the Boar's Tusk. Vehicles should have a high clearance for some of the roads that will be taken. A $5 donation would be appreciated. Advance registration is needed. Fremont County Historical Society Meeting is at 9:30 a.m. at the Eagle Bronze, 130 Poppy St., Lander. Bring a sack lunch. For more information, call 332-9499.

An Educator's Guide to Sinks Canyon State Park Workshop is 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lander Middle School. The workshop is free. Emergency calls

In Riverton Police Department reports Tuesday to Wednesday morning:

Marcus Brown, 33, of Riverton, was arrested for public intoxication.

Alma Addison, 24, of Riverton, was arrested on a municipal warrant.

Norman C'Hair, 26, of Riverton, was arrested on a municipal warrant.

George Littlethunder, 28, of Fort Washakie, was arrested on a municipal warrant.

Benjamin Gardner, 35, of Riverton, was arrested for driving under the influence.

Louis Norse, 27, of Riverton was arrested on a municipal warrant.

In Fremont County Sheriff's Office reports Tuesday to Wednesday morning:

There were no arrests reported for the Sheriff's Office during the timeframe.

County ambulance crews were called out 12 times during this timeframe. Firefighters responded to four calls for service.
