Aug 17, 2012 - StaffNicky Craig Thomas, 59, of Lander, died Aug. 4, 2012.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at the Wyoming Life Resource Center Chapel. Chaplin Justin Vold from the Life Resource Center will officiate. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Hudson's Funeral Home. Interment will take place after the memorial service at the Wyoming Life Resource Center Cemetery.
Nick Craig Thomas was born Jan. 14, 1953, in Laramie to George and Juanita Thomas. He went to live at the Wyoming Life Resource Center when he was 8 months old. He grew up on the center grounds and attended Emerson School.
The school staff said he enjoyed being around others, and they enjoyed his company very much. They said he was always happy and friendly.
His family said Mr. Thomas was a handsome, kind and loving man, and he really liked music, especially from Disney movies like "The Lion King."
He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita, in 1995 and his father, George, in 2010.
He is survived by his brother, Jack Thomas and his wife Sue; sister Jennifer Dean and her husband Carl; aunts Jenny, Dorothy and Hope; nephews Austin and Kelly; and nieces Krista and Vanessa.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Wyoming Life Resource Center in care of Hudson's Funeral Home, 680 Mount Hope Drive, Lander, WY 82520.
