Aug 19, 2012 - StaffArabelle "Bing" Hime, 85, formerly of Fremont County, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne.
Services are at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, at the Hudson Funeral Home in Lander. Viewing is one hour before the service.
Arabelle Hime was born Jan. 25, 1927, in Meadville, Pa., to Byron Kindervater and Hilda Mae Lawlor.
She married Garfield Edison Hime on May 10, 1943.
Mrs. Hime managed the Jeffrey City school lunch program for about 10 years, and she worked at the Corner Drug in Lander as a bookkeeper for more than 20 years.
Her family said she loved rock hunting, was a skilled hunter and that her greatest joy was her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Marlene Davis of Casper and Jo Ann Heron and her husband Larry of Glenrock; son Charles "Chuck" Him and his wife Phyllis of Cheyenne; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister Mary Elizabeth Brisko; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garfield Edison; her parents; sisters Bessie Mae Pero and Jean Marie Amspacker; son James "Jimbo" Hime; granddaughter Jennifer Lynn Sebasta; and great-granddaughter Alexis Edmondson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a donor of choice in memory of Arabelle "Bing" Hime.
