Riverton Middle School cross country runners Tiana Lopez, (eighth grade) and Shelby Watson (seventh grade) warmed up for practice on Tuesday afternoon at Wolverine Track. The Spartans open the season on Friday, Aug. 24, at the Green River Invitational. Riverton's home meet is Oct. 5.
