A son was born to Rachel and Robert Weber, of Lander, at 4:10 p.m. March 29, 2012, at Lander Regional Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds, 6.9 ounces.
Cordelia S. Eagle Goggles, 78, died Monday, Aug. 20, at the Riverton Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at 26 Arroyo Lane in rural Riverton. Burial will be at the Wolfrang Cemetery. A service will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, at 26 Arroyo Lane, with an all night wake to follow.Services are under the direction of the Hudson's Funeral Home of Lander.
Esther Haun, 96, of Riverton,died Tuesday, Aug. 21, at Westward Heights Nursing Home in Lander.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27, at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Pastor Dave Magruder officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Viewing will be 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at Davis Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.
Low Water Stream Band Show is at the Lander Bar, 126 Main St., Lander.

Erik Weihenmayer Presentation is at 7 p.m. at Lander Valley High School, 350 Baldwin Creek Road, Lander. A blind adventurer, Erik Weihenmayer, who has climbed the summit of the highest mountains on each of the seven continents, is the keynote speaker for Central Wyoming College's first Wind River Outdoor Writers Conference. This event is open to the public. Weihenmayer is the author of "Touch the Top of the World" and was honored as the Outdoor Industry Association's 2011 Inspirational Person of the Year, alongside the National Outdoor Leadership School.

- Melinda Williams, 42, of Riverton, was arrested for probation revocatin.
In Fremont County Sheriff's Office reports Tuesday to Thursday morning:
- Members of the Fremont County Fire Protection District responded at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday to reports of a structure fire in the 300 block of 17 Mile Road near Ethete. Deputy chief Dan Oakley said a barn, a shed and some empty corrals were destroyed in the blaze, which is under investigation. Owners of the property were in their house at the time of the fire, but Oakley said flames did not threaten the home.
"Upon arrival, the main concern was to protect the hay stack that was threatened by the fire so we didn't lose any of the feed," Oakley said. "Then we just contained the fire to the area that was already burning."
He said firefighters remained on scene for about three hours.
- Belinda Ellis, 52, of Riverton, was arrested for failure to appear.
- Sterling Blackburn, 21, of Arapahoe, was arrested for driving under the influence, no driver's license and interference at about 7:40 p.m. Wednesday on Oak Lane in Wind River Estates.
