Lee S. Addison II

Lee S. Addison II died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, in Elephant Butte, N.M. He was 24 years old.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, at St. Stephens Mission with Father John officiating. A rosary and wake will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, at No. 780 Rendezvous Road, St. Stephens. Interment will be in the Sharp Nose Cemetery at Arapahoe.

Lee Stafford Addison II was born May 22, 1988, in Riverton, the son of Mary Addison and Lee Addison Sr.

He attended St. Stephens Indian School and Montana State University.

Mr. Addison believed in his traditional ceremonies and was also of the Catholic faith.

His family said he always put smiles on the faces of everyone he met, he loved to joke around and he was always rapping, dropping it like it was hot and keeping it real. They said he loved to spend time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Addison; grandparents Ruby Morgan and Papa Gary McClain; daughter Nolena Jealous Of Him; godmother Irene Crazy Thunder; adopted parents David and Francine Lonebear; brothers Victor Addison and wife Marle, Samuel Witt and wife Chartess, Alvin and Jesse McClain, Chris McCarson, Lance Addison and David Lonebear; sisters Leona Hilbert, Sarah Witt, Ruby and Rain McClain and Echo Blackburn; aunts and uncles Cora and Brian Rhodes, Twila Dewey, Suzette, Steven, Burdick and John Etta Seminole, Crissy, Coreen and Leah Addison, Rose and Donna Potter, Joseph and Sharon Serena and Myra Brown; grandparents Madeline Spoonhunter, Charles Manderson, Teddy Washington, Katherine and Lorraine Addison, Vincent and Louise Blake; Sundance grandfather Donald Oldman and wife Roberta; nieces and nephews Deja, Haile and Jesiah Addison, Isaac Witt, Whisper, Patience and Skuler Hilbert, Montana, Alvin, Precious, Fear and Bluebird Talks Different.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents Leo Addison, John Dewey, Beta Addision, George Buckman, Joanne Birdshead, Margaret Washington and Stanford Addison; brothers Javen and Alvin "Shafter" Talks Different Jr.; aunts and uncles Allen Addison, Jesse McClain and Shane Addison; godparent Dean Dewey, Edna Antelope, Alvin and Nancy Spoonhunter, Clark Trumbull and Melaine Addison; sister Jessica Brown; nieces and nephews Elena Frasier, Snowshield Talks Different, Luke and Destiny Murida and Elijah C'Bearing and Sam Pitt.
